"I was spinning out,” he told the jury. “I didn’t want to be alive anymore at that point.”
Recalling a moment from March 2023 when she was planning to end her life while her kids were sleeping, she broke down, saying, “I couldn’t take the pain I was in anymore and just tried to walk out the front door into traffic."
“You can do this without me; you don’t need me anymore," she told her husband.
Ventura revealed that her husband saved her life that day by not letting her out of the house.
